Victor lived from 1997 to March of 2001. He had at least a 1,000 word vocabulary and understood their meanings as well. He was the inspiration for this website and The Budgie Research Group, which now has over 900 registered members.30 of which are now speaking in context. Victor was the first budgie in the world to prove beyond a doubt that he was talking in context. On top of that, he talked extensively about God and the afterlife. Some people and even the budgies in the group think Victor actually communicated with God. Some also believe he could see the future. He often displayed an amazing ability to anticipate what was going to happen in it.
Before Victor died he made hours of recordings. So far I have only analyzed about half of them. The last two on this page are ones I just translated in 2005. I will probably be working on more for years to come.
